This is Me (sorry)

As promised a picture of me - I told you that I was a 69 year old weather beaten old bag Kev!
Here is the seat I use when drinking my early morning cuppa. it is a bit mizzly today, but you get the idea. The next two pictures are my view whilst drinking said cuppa.

Looks ideal doesn't it? and indeed it is, as nothing beats the Derbyshire Countryside.
I'll take some pictures of my corners of shame another time to balance them up!
All for now, cooking tea for the festival fairies, who are currently pulling nettles.
Love
Gillx.

    1. They are lovely to watch, quite soothing really and then they suddenly have a mad "boingy" moment which is hilarious.

  2. Ah. and how lovely to meet you too, Gill! Like 1st Man, your smile shows in your eyes as well :) As for our "silver wings" - well, we've earned them, haven't we...

What a view - can I join you for my morning cuppa? ;)

    1. Hi. My hair is only just starting to go grey, so I guess I am lucky. I shan't be colouring it though. I'm far too lazy to bother and as you say I've earnt it!
You are more than welcome to join me, but it will hardly be a pop-in. Perhaps we can have a virtual morning cuppa.

I know you have some beautiful scenery in your part of the world, not unlike a few couple north of us as we climb into the Pennines

Mizzley and grey here today too without actually being wet enough to do any good. Lovely views from your bench, the weather should be better next week so you should be able to sit out and I will be starting the gooseberry picking too I reckon, so will think of you too!

    1. Thanks Parsnip I never tire of it. I shall take a pic of the other side of our little paddock soon as this time of year is the very best for tree colour.
If you travel this way you will have to call in (after you have popped into Weaver's of course!)

  12. You are not a weather beaten old bag by any stretch of the imagination! You look lovely and friendly and I'd love to share a drink and have a natter with you at some point!

    1. I certainly consider myself friendly. Yes it would be good to have a natter with you. You have such plans and enthusiasm which I find exciting. I still feel enthused by our life, though it is slightly slower nowadays ( Though considerably busier than most of our contemporaries)
Iv'e never met a fellow blogger yet. Have you?

Derbyshire is a beautiful county. Which part of Australia do you come from?
